Before setting up your Xumo TV, ensure you have:
- A working internet connection (WiFi or Ethernet)
- Your WiFi network name and password (if connecting wirelessly)
- A separate device with internet access for activation
- Your Xumo account login info (if you already use another Xumo device)
How to set up your Xumo TV
- Plug in your TV: Connect your TV to a power outlet.
- Get your remote ready: Pull the plastic tab on the back of the remote to activate the batteries. If your remote isn’t working, visit Something’s not working with my Xumo TV remote. ¿Cómo puedo arreglarlo?
- Turn on your TV: Use the remote to power your TV. On-screen instructions will guide you through the setup process.
- Connect to the internet: To access streaming content and complete setup, connect your TV to the internet using either:
- Your WiFi network name and password, or
- An Ethernet cable
- Activate your TV: When you reach the activation screen, you’ll see a 6-digit code and a QR code. Use your phone, tablet, or computer to:
- Scan the QR code, or
- Visit xumo.com and follow the activation steps using the 6-digit code
- Sign in: Sign in with your existing Xumo account. If you don't have one, you can create a new account. You’ll also have the option to add a payment method if you want to make purchases on your TV.
